Mary Ann Taylor

Mary Ann Taylor, age 85, of Princeton, West Virginia, formerly of Russell County, Virginia, passed away Monday (October 2, 2017) at the home of her son in Pettry, West Virginia. Born October 6, 1931 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Will and Annie Perkins Taylor. She was a devoted member of the Honaker Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Taylor; two brothers, Tom Taylor and Carl Taylor; one sister, Dorothy Jackson; grandchildren, infant, William Taylor, Faith Grinstead, Tiffany Taylor, and great-grandson, Toby Haber. Survivors include eleven children, David Taylor and wife, Debbie of Kingsport, Tennessee, Gail Johnson, and Janice Buchanon and husband, Ira all of Bland, Virginia, Roger Taylor and wife, Brenda of Richlands, Virginia, Linda Browning, Randy Taylor and Tracy Johnson all of Honaker, Virginia, Mary Ellen Taylor and fiancé, William Sharp of Oak Island, North Carolina, Jimmy Taylor and wife, Kim of Bristol, Virginia, George Taylor and wife, Benita of Pettry, West Virginia and Brian Taylor and wife, Rebecca of Tannersville, Virginia; five brothers, Frank Taylor, Ralph Taylor, Sam Taylor, Raymond Taylor and Walter Taylor; sister-in-law, Geneva Taylor; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Evangelist Mark Gaminde and Evangelist Dennis Wimmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Stump Cemetery in Honaker, Virginia. Pallbearers will be the men of Honaker Church of Christ, Richard Leonard, and Jeff Hicks.
