Mary Ruth Selby, 91 of Hardyville passed away peacefully on August 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. Selby, parents Albert and Naomi Johnson, sister, Edith Faulkner and brother Oran Johnson. Mary Ruth is survived by her son Charles Albert (Al) Selby, grandson Forest Selby (Agnieszka), three great-grandchildren, Natalia, Emilia, Gabriela, and sister-in-law Betty Johnson. She was a homemaker, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary Ruth was a life-long member of Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville, VA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville, VA. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
