Celeste Ridout Evans, 86, of Bracey, Virginia passed away on April 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bascom B. Evans. Celeste was the devoted mother of four children; Gary (Patty) Evans of Reston, VA, Jennell Evans (David Swink) of Vienna, VA, Benji Evans of South Hill, VA and James (Dawn) Evans of Bracey, VA; five grandchildren; Annie, Matt, Trenton, Adam and Hannah; three great-grandchildren; Madison, Olivia, and Ava. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, one hour prior to the 2:00PM funeral service at Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home, 1260 Mecklenburg Avenue, South Hill, VA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kingswood United Methodist Church, PO Box 191 Bracey, VA 23919.
