Mrs. Elsie C. Dishmon, age 76 of South Hill died Tuesday, January 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Dishmon and is survived by a daughter Wanda Dishmon Wilson (Buddy) of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren Brandon Owen (Amy) and Kendra Wilson (Merritt) and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Nettie C. Mitchell and Margaret C. Kidd both of Richmond. Mrs. Dishmon was retired from BGF Industries, a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Tabernacle Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, January 26 at Farrar Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
