Mrs. Helen Ramsey White, age 102, passed away in Beth Sholom Nursing Home, Richmond, VA on April 28, 2016. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Emmett H. and Mary Ella C. Ramsey, and lived most of her life in South Hill, VA. She was married to Percy T. White, who preceded her in death along with 13 siblings. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families living throughout Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Canada. Mrs. White attended First Baptist Church of South Hill and was a member of South Hill Christian Church, a past employee of the U.S. Postal Service in South Hill and worked with her husband in their grocery store, White's Grocery. She volunteered with the CMH Auxiliary and other organizations in South Hill, and enjoyed many hours of fellowship with her Bridge Club friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am, Monday, May 2, 2016 by Dr. Kevin Rosenfeld at Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse, VA.
