Joyce Medlin

Mrs. Joyce R Medlin, 87 of South Hill, departed this life to be with the Lord on June 25, 2015. She was born June 4, 1928 and lived in Henderson, NC and Warrenton, NC for many years before coming to South Hill. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gene and Dale Medlin, and is survived by her sons, David and Billy Medlin, grandchildren, Johnny, Daniel, Nicky, Ryan, Clay and Crystal Medlin and 8 great grandchildren. Joyce was an inspiration to many, as she was so independent and had a strong faith despite her disabilities. She attended the School for the Blind in Raleigh and was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her funeral services were private in Epsom, NC at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at a later date.
