Malcolm Ogburn Obituary

Malcolm Graham Ogburn 74, of South Hill died at his residence on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. He was a retired farmer and son of the late Benjamin H. Ogburn and Ruth Micer Ogburn. Malcolm was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, member and Past Master of South Hill Masonic Lodge No. 297 and Danville Scottish Rite Bodies. He enjoyed gardening and in former years enjoyed flying his Cesena 172. He is survived by his wife, Louise Nichols Ogburn and several nephews. Malcolm was preceded in death by a sister, Sadie Ruth Moody and two brothers, Benjamin and Billy Ogburn. A celebration of life service will be conducted 11am Saturday, July 21st at Shiloh United Methodist Church with interment and Masonic Rites to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home and Cremation Services Friday evening from 6 to 7:30pm.
