Mary Reaves

Mary Ann Snead Reaves, age 92, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Mary was the widow of the late Ernest L. Reaves. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of South Hill, Ladies Auxiliary of the South Hill Vol. Fire Dept. and was a member of the Woodmen of the World. Mrs. Reaves is survived by a son, E. Henry Harper (Kay) of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Harry H. Snead, Jr. of Buffalo Junction; two sisters, Bobbie Sheffield (Rick) of Red Oak, VA and Nancy Brady of Clarksville, VA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Todd Harper (Amber) of Tallahassee, FL and Holly Shiflett (Bob) of Charlottesville, VA.. A funeral service will be conducted 2 PM Thursday September 6, 2012 at Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Clover Cemetery, Clover, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8. Memorial considerations may be made to South Hill Vol. Fire Department, 114 N.
