Norman Piercy

Norman Lindbergh “Corky” Piercy, age 86, died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at VCU/Community Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, the American Legion and was a Navy Veteran. Mr. Piercy is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Piercy; two daughters, Martha Elizabeth Culler of North, South Carolina and Connie Hylton Smith of South Hill; four grandchildren, Whitney L. Fogle, Ashley Elizabeth Culler Redmond, Barbara Jean Piercy Culler, and Michael Brett Ezell; great grandchildren, Cassidy Elizabeth Painter, Jason Fogle, Jr., Eric Cole Redmond, Ashton Conner Redmond, Tucker Lee Reagan, Colton Jacob Reagan, Mikayla Hope Ezell; a special niece Betty Burnette and two special friends, Freddie and Judy Yancey. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening in the Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30. Memorial considerations may be made to the Sardis United Methodist Church, c/o 3088 Busy Bee Rd. South Hill, VA 23970. Online condolences may be emailed to www.farrarfuneralhome.net.
