Pannie Elizabeth Robinson was born May 5, 1921 and died April 7, 2014 in Warrenton, NC. She was the former manager of the original Glass House Restaurant of 71 East Lake St., Chicago, Ill. She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Mabe McKenzie of Richmond and Linda Mabe of Dolphin, VA.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one son, Cecil and his wife Irene Mabe of Waverly, VA.; one sister, Lillian Brauer of Ridgeway, NC.; one brother, Franklin Robinson and his wife Amelia of Panama City, Fl.; two sister’s in law, Estelle Robinson of Alexandria, VA and Helen Robinson of Richmond; seven nephews, six nieces and numerous extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, April, 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Farrar Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
