Rebecca Moody

Mrs. Rebecca D Moody, age 84, of Bracey died Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Griffin Moody and is survived by one daughter, Patricia M. Lewis (Ralph); two sons, John Griffin Moody and Thomas Michael Moody (Shirley) all of Bracey; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers William Dickerson of Burlington, NC and Robert Dickerson of Oxford, NC ; two sisters, Sylvia Greene of Union Level and Ruth Dickerson of Guyton, GA. and a lifelong friend Eunice Cook of Acton, Mass. Mrs. Moody was a retired Postmaster of the Bracey, VA Post Office and former co-founder and co-owner of Pineview Rest Home in South Hill. Graveside services will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday, January 5 in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 at Farrar Funeral Home in South Hill. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Primrose Staff of Meadowview Terrace for the outstanding care given Mrs. Moody.
