Mr. Therman R. Cole, age 85 of South Hill, died Friday, June 13, 2014. He is survived by his wife Anne C. Cole of the home; two sisters, Louise Jones and Peggy Burton (George) of South Boston. Mr. Cole was a retired tobacconist with American Tobacco Company for more than 35 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 297, South Hill Shrine Club, American Legion Post 79 and the South Hill United Methodist Church. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11am Monday June, 16 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in South Boston. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:30-7:30 at Farrar Funeral Home.
