William Creedle Obituary

Mr. William Hunter Creedle, Sr., age 90 of South Hill died Monday, July 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet K. Creedle and is survived by three sons, William Hunter “Billy” Creedle, Jr. (Judy) of Crimora; Winfred Ray “Wimp” Creedle, (Joan) of Chase City; Glenn Nelson Creedle (Trudy) of Forksville; and two daughters, Nancy Cole Price (Jim) of Richmond and Karen Lockhart (Billy) of Chesterfield. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mr. Creedle was a retired store manager for Parker Oil Company and a Veteran of WWI where he proudly served in the US ArmyI. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, VFW 7166, American Legion Post 79, South Hill Moose Lodge 1872. The family would like to extend there sincere appreciation to Personal Home Care and a special thanks to Hazel Allgood for the tender, loving care she provided. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Thursday, July 25 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 at Farrar Funeral Home.
