Patricia Jean Brill, 76, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at her home. Patricia was born April 10, 1941 in Front Royal, VA; the daughter of the late Hubert Gene and Goldie Larrick Smedley. She was a graduate of Handley High School. She served her country in the Army. Patricia worked at the Winchester Star for almost 50 years and never missed a day of work. She is survived by her former husband, Thomas Winfred Brill of Stephens City, VA; son, Thomas Wesley Brill and his wife Pam of Winchester; grandson, Benjamin Brill of Winchester; brother, Hubert Smedley of Stewartstown, PA and sisters, Arlene Brown and Linda Smedley both of Winchester. A Celebration of Life will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. There will be a time set aside for those who would like to share memories of Patricia. Burial will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patricia Brill funeral fund in c/o Jones Funeral Home, 228 S.
