Edna Church

Edna Louise Church, 66, a longtime Grays Harbor resident and former dispatcher for Arrow Cab and Transport, died Tuesday morning, December 6, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Aberdeen. Edna was born on October 8, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia to John William and Athalia (Jordan) Moorman. They moved to Copalis Beach four years later. On January 20, 1967, Edna married Robert Church in Aberdeen. He died January 27, 2005. Edna enjoyed being with her grandchildren and they were the highlight of her days. She liked to crochet, do embroidery, loved to cook and bake. Edna is survived by two sons: Joseph and wife Christy Miller-Church and Robert E. Church III all of Aberdeen; two daughters: Victoria F. and husband Justin Jones and Lennea and husband Ever Juarez all of Aberdeen; three sisters: Rebecca Heath of Aberdeen, Charmain Burgen of Ocean Shores and Claudia A. Moorman of Alaska; eight grandchildren: Rosa Juarez, Natasha Flores, Mathew Juarez, Erick Juarez, Edward Juarez, Joelynn Church, Payton Miller and Arianna Picich; Sister-in-law: Cindy Moorman. Edna was preceded in death by a son Robert E. Church II, brothers, William J. Rudd II and Robert O. Moorman and a sister Louis Lynn Dunnigan. There will be a celebration of Edna’s life on Friday, December 9th at Noon at Lennea Juarez’s home, 1303 Holmes St., Aberdeen.
