Lifelong Harbor resident, Harold Alfred Schultz, passed away peacefully at his home in Aberdeen on August 15, 2012. He was born in Burlington, North Dakota on November 26, 1925 to Clarence and Anna (Joyce) Schultz. The family moved to Aberdeen in 1927 where he remained until his death. Harold served in the Army in Europe during World War II. He worked at ITT Rayonier from 1955 until his retirement in 1987. Harold was married to Beverly Yarrow in 1955. In 1977, Harold married Marjorie Lesman, the love of his life. Harold was always very active, enjoying summers camping and fishing. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family. His hobbies included riding his bicycle, reading, photography and making bird houses. Harold was preceded in death by Marjorie, his parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters and an infant daughter. He is survived by his son: Steven Schultz; two daughters: Jill Jones and Kimberly Warren as well as five stepchildren: Mike Lesman, Greg Lesman, Linda Devereaux, Bob Lesman and Annie Weir. Harold also has 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on September 22, 2012 at 1 PM at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen. Friends and family are welcome to attend. The family suggests memorials may be made in Harold’s name to Harbors Home Health and Hospice, 201 7th St., Hoquiam, WA 98550.
