John Woodland
John Paul Woodland joined his Mother in Heaven on July 22, 2012. John was 54 years old and lived in Olympia. John was born on December 11, 1957 in Seattle. John’s parents are John Williams II and Patty Woodland. John and his brother Chris were adopted into the Woodland family 1970. John is survived by his son Brad Woodland and father David, and brothers Patrick, Steven, Blake, Chris, Scott, and sisters Laura McLeod and Paula Flint. John graduated from Weatherwax H.S. in Aberdeen, WA. in 1976 and also earned an AA degree at Grays Harbor CC. John was a self-employed contractor and a true craftsman at his trade. He enjoyed playing golf, clam digging at the coast and just hanging out with friends and family. John was a great brother, friend and father. There will be a private family service at Fern Hill funeral home Chapel at 2:00 in Aberdeen on August 11 and a celebration of John's life at Bridges in Aberdeen following.
