Kevin Estes Warren, 38, a seven-year resident of Oakville and Long-term Care Associate at Liberty Country Place Care Center in Centralia, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA. Kevin was born in Herrin, IL on October 26, 1972 to Kenneth Eugene and Miriam Kathryn (Gray) Warren. He grew up in Carterville, IL and Marion, IL until moving to Yelm, WA at the age of 14. He graduated from Yelm High School in 1990 and went to work for Safeway in Tumwater from 1992 to 2000. He then worked several other places before finding his calling as a Long-term Care Associate at Liberty Country Place Care Center. He was the housekeeper and assisted in helping the residents. He was also known for his ‘Hug Patrols’ at the care center. Kevin enjoyed collecting shot glasses since he was young, playing his videogames and spending time with his nieces, he was their ‘Unkie’. His brother Kenny will miss his ‘Little brother, egg-head’ and their hunting trips. Kevin also liked to “pull the wool over his mothers eyes” with Lynn. Kevin loved people and his family. He was amazingly compassionate and content with his life and what the Lord had given to him and will be missed by all who knew him. Kevin is survived by his mother: Kathy Warren of Oakville, Bother Kenny and wife Lynn Warren of Rochester, two nieces, Elizabeth and Emily Warren of Rochester and his aunt and uncle, Auntie ‘M’ and uncle Vic of Crescent City, CA. Good friends, Hubert and Connie Dotson of Rochester. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Warren in 2008. There will be a celebration of Kevin’s life on Saturday, September 10th at 1:30 PM in Liberty Country Place Care Center, 917 South Scheuber Road, Centralia, WA.
