Gloria our precious mother was daughter to Paul Newbury Kingsley and Dorothy Luxinger. They had married on March 4, 1908. Gloria was the sixth child of nine children; Virginia, Kate, Jeanette, Nadine, Barbara, Paul, Charles, and Doris her last surviving sibling. Our precious mother was born on October 5, 1923 in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduating from Sacramento High School, she furthered her education at Sacramento Senior College attaining her degree in the field of nursing. She was employed at Sacramento Community Hospital. Eventually she married Chester R. Scott and they had three loving daughters; Jill Ann, Joy Lynn, and Sheila Kay Scott. Eventually Gloria and her daughters relocated to Reno, NV. Where she ultimately married Paul Dell and gave birth to her son Paul Anthony and her last child, daughter Holly Gay Delliquadri. Gloria and Paul entered the restaurant business in 1979 creating a well-known business to the community as the Arlington Gourmet Shop. Eventually Gloria ventured out on her own and she owned and operated Lady Bug Fashions in Reno, NV. They eventually decided to venture to Ocean Shores, Washington, again creating a new restaurant in the Ocean Shores community, called the Squeeze Inn Deli, a gourmet sandwich shop, where many locals as well as tourists enjoyed dining. In 1985 the Dells retired in Reno, Nevada, to maintain a closer relationship with their beloved grandchildren. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Paul, who passed. Away April 22, 2000. Gloria remained in Reno Nevada until her grandchildren were grown, then returned to Ocean Shores, to reside with daughter Sheila who cared for her until her passing from a lengthy illness, which eventually consumed her life. Gloria is survived by her daughters; Joy, Sheila and Holly; son Paul; sister Doris and her grandchildren; Lacy, Devon, Cherish, Angle, Skye, Brianca, Scott, Gavin, Lorenzo and Sabria. She has several great-grandchildren as well ...it is with great sorrow we announce our mothers passing to all surviving family members, as she was the foundation of this close loving family and shall live in all our hearts until we meet again... How great thou art!!! Momma forever yours, Holly.
