Sandy Mauldin

Sandy Mauldin died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at her Clarkston home from lung cancer. She was 61. Sandy was born May 28, 1952, in Florence, S.C., where she later attended school. She moved to Clarkston in 1993, where she soon met her partner, Tony Blinn. She was self-employed as a housekeeper. Sandy enjoyed watching NASCAR, the outdoors and gardening. She is survived by her partner of 20 years, Tony Blinn; daughters Stephanie Lester and Melinda Lester; and son Ricky Lester. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at her request. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
