Rebecca (Becky Moyer) Spraitzar, long-time Oak Harbor resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017. Becky was born on May 12, 1949 in Vancouver, WA, to John and Lou Moyer. She was a 1967 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. She was a passionate advocate for fairness in government. As a farmer, she loved animals and the earth and was a voice for the environment. Friendship and family were important and her pride as a mom was there for all to see. She could be fierce when asked, as well as smart and funny. A bright light in our life has dimmed...our dear friend Becky has lost her battle with cancer. She will be missed in our hearts and home. Becky is survived by her son Caleb LeBret, sister Laurel Fagan, step brother Clay Beagle and his wife Diana, nephews Sean & Skeeter Fagan, niece Kenyon (Fagan) Blaine, one grand-nephew, two grand-nieces and her husband Gerry Spraitzar. She was predeceased by both her parents and her son John LeBret. A Memorial Service for Becky will be on Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 pm at Wallin Funeral Home with a friend of the family, Mark Landis as celebrant. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
