JACKLYN CHRISTINE “JACKIE” HOOVER Jacklyn Christine “Jackie” Hoover was born on January 10, 1991 in Visalia, California to Randy and Evonne “Chris” Hoover. She died suddenly on August 28, 2012 at her home in Oak Harbor. Jackie is survived by her mother Evonne “Chris” Dickerson and stepfather Aaron of Oak Harbor, by her father Randy Hoover and stepmother Margaret of Fresno, CA and by her siblings Jordan, Joshua and Emily Dickerson, all of Oak Harbor, Reese and Randi Hoover and Jonathan Petty, all of Fresno, by her maternal grandparents Martha Grant, of Visalia, CA, and Leroy Grant of Oregon, and her paternal grandfather Donald Hoover of Fresno. Jackie grew up in California’s central San Joaquin Valley where she attending Lemoore High School before moving to Oak Harbor in 2007. She attended Oak Harbor High School and was a graduate of Skagit Job Corps’ Business Tech program. Jackie had a flair for the dramatic and enjoyed photography and artwork. Her creativity could be seen in everything she touched. A celebration of Life was held on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the Oak Harbor Church of Christ with Mr. Al Owens officiating.
