Obituary for Phillip P. Alexander
Beloved “Phil” went with the Angels, holding hands with his beautiful Dottie who was waiting for him, on March 28, 2017. Working as a mail carrier at Parkland Post Office until he retired, Phil cherished his wife, family, and friends. Always thinking of others first, he drew people to him by his smile and funny nature. He loved “tinkering” about the house, bowling, playing darts, camping, and spending holidays with his family and dear friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Dottie and granddaughter Stephanie, he will be missed by many. He is survived by his four daughters: Denise, Julia (Kirk), Cynthia (Robert), and Sandra (Glen); grandchildren Becky, Ken, and Adrienne; great-grandchildren Nakeah, Christopher, Maya, Elena, Toby, and Jeff: and great-great-grandson Cordell; as well as his last surviving nephew, Jim Alexander. His Absence is deeply felt, but we rejoice knowing he is now with our mother and family members in Heaven.
