Samuel Brady

Samuel Matthew Brady passed away suddenly on July 14, 2017. He was born on March 11, 1996 in Clarksburg, WV. Sam was the son of Jeannie Bennett and Oras Wade of Chloe, WV and Matthew and Misty Brady of Key West, Florida. Sam was a 2015 graduate of Calhoun County High School where he played basketball, football, baseball and participated in cross country. He attended Calhoun-Gilmer Technical Center where he studied criminal justice. Sam was a friend to many. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and attended Louisa Chapel and New Beginnings. Sam is survived by three sisters: Emily (Matt) McGinnis of Fairmont, WV, Kaylea Bennett and Josie Montgomery of the home. Also, surviving is one brother Bryson Montgomery of the home and girlfriend Ashley Siers. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Sharon and Dean Bennett of Spencer, paternal grandparents, Alma Brady of Gassaway and Shawn and Frank Bolyard of Thornton and one nephew Zakk McGinnis of Arizona. Surviving are many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Sam was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Brock Brady, his maternal great-grandparents Brooks and Gertrude Bennett and Broaddus and Thelma Moore. Sam loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors with his family, friends, cousins, aunts and uncles. Sam always had a smile on his face, was a people person, and loved to make people happy. He was employed as a laborer by Apex Pipeline. Funeral service held at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Arnoldsburg, WV on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at the family farm on Walnut Hill, Chloe with his dog Duke.
