Shelby “Sally” Knight See, 81, of Jarvisville, Road, Salem, passed away Friday morning, June 14, 2019, at Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Doddridge County on June 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Coleman and Edna “Eddie” (Jones) Knight. On June 4, 1960, she married Dale “Bill” W. See, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 9, 2011. She is survived by four children, Dale See, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Salem; Donna Jean Oldaker and her husband Harold of Clarksburg; Joyce Ann Perine of North View; and Gail Wayne See of Salem; five grandchildren, John See and his wife Katrina; Jennifer Perine Barker and her husband Matt; Joseph Oldaker and his wife Cheriee; Amber Oldaker; and Erica Perine Pignanelli and her husband Will; two great- granddaughters, Olivia See and Sophia See; and a great-grandson, Landon Barker. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Ronald and Tom Knight; and her sisters, Janet “Peanut” George; Pauline Verbick; and Irene Boyd. Shelby enjoyed gardening, working puzzles and word search, and her loving dogs. She attended Reynoldsville New Hope Church. Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, from 2 – 8 p.m. on Monday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, with Pastor Robert Marino presiding.
