Francis Willis

Francis Willis, age 83 of Halleck Road, Morgantown, WV (formerly of Pleasant Creek Community) passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the home of Leslie Downing. He was born September 5, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA. He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. (Peters) Willis; two daughters; numerous grandchildren and grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Willis of GA; three step-children, including Steven Leonard also of GA; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Willis and Frankie Willis, Jr. and several siblings. Francis was a chainman for J & L Steel Company in Pittsburgh, PA and was a member of the Pleasant Creek Methodist Church in Grafton. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and talking to people. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, March 23rd from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Mullens officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
