Ethyn Eric Miller, 19, of Grantsville, West Virginia passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. Ethyn was born January 9, 1998, in Lake County, Florida. His parents are Kevin and Kristin Miller and Jesse and Denise Davis. Ethyn graduated from Calhoun Middle High School in 2016 where he was a star athlete. He had been a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He was a very talented athlete and broke several school records in football. Ethyn was a true gift from God and touched more lives than he will ever know. He had that wonderful smile and huge heart that made everybody love him. He loved big and everyone who knew him loved him. In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, Jeffrey Miller, and 4 sisters: Brittiny Miller, Madison Miller, Kendra Davis, Lexi Miller, and one "special" sister Raegan Miller, his best friend. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Funk, and paternal grandparents Johnny and Wanda Miller, Aunts: Debbie and Rodney Carbaugh, Nikki and Michael Boatright, and Lora Davis and Randall Richards, Uncles: Tim and Diane Miller, David and Maysel Miller, Mark and Julie Miller, Joe Miller, Brian and Seana Miller, David and Tricia Funk, and Josh Davis, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Paul Funk and his step-sister Kaylee Jones. A funeral service will be at Calhoun Middle High School auditorium, Mt. Zion, West Virginia on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Steven Carter officiating. Visitation will be held in the CMHS auditorium on Friday, March 10, 2017, 6-9 p.m. Interment will be at Bryner Chapel Cemetery, Joker, West Virginia.
