Eugene “Mick” Forrest Richards, 87, of Big Springs, WV passed away September 28, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born September 23, 1930 in Freed, WV to the late Clellie and Georgia Wilson Richards. He was the last surviving family member and was preceded in death by his wife Carol J. Belt Richards, brothers Hale, Eudore, Dale, Henry, Adrin, Jack, Gary and Bill Joe along with one sister Helen Richards Murphy. Eugene enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired from OAmes Company where he was a welder and had also worked in the oil fields. He is survived by a daughter Connie (Gary) Wagoner of Big Bend, WV, two sons, Rick (Debbie) Richards and Rusty (Angel) Richards of Big Springs, WV; grandchildren, Steve (Jenny Yoak) Milliron, Stacey (Denny Fox) Wagoner, Dustin (Kelly) Wagoner, Barb (Jimmy)Greathouse, Cheryl (Dave) Richards, Gary James (Sharon) Wagoner, Brian (Jessica) Richards, Amanda Richards and Travis Richards. Great-grandchildren, Katelyn (Stephen) Fletcher, Jenna, Ryan and Casey Milliron, Ryan Wagoner, Landon and Alaina Richards, and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation Inc., Grantsville, WV. Burial will follow in the Saunders Cemetery, Big Springs, WV.
