Reva Cundiff

Reva Jane Cundiff (Amos), 91, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Reva was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia on March 30, 1925, the second child to the late Simon L. Amos and Sarah C. Amos (Church). She is proceeded in death by her older brother, Delbert J. Amos, and her younger sister, Ruby Mae Goff (Amos). Reva was very proud of her long work career. She worked at the Viscos plant and the Ames shovel plant in Parkersburg, WV before relocating to Baltimore. She took a job at Glen L. Martin Co. in Baltimore, Maryland, where she met Earl Francis Cundiff. They were married in Dec of 1955. In July of 1957, they became the loving parents of their first son, James Sanderson and in January of 1961, they became the loving parents of their second son, Mark Allen. In March of 1965, she began work at Levinson and Klein where she retired after working for over 20 years. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and everyone loved her. She was faithful in attending Tabernacle Baptist Church in Essex, Maryland. She loved the Lord dearly and walks with Him, looking down and watching over all that she loved. Reva is survived by her sons James Sanderson Cundiff and Mark Allen Cundiff, by her three granddaughters, Sarah Kathleen Vinson (Cundiff), Elizabeth Kathleen Cundiff, and Hannah Kathleen Cundiff. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Joshua Brian Vinson and Hayley Marie Vinson. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Trace Fork Cemetery.
