Marjorie Ruth Cole, 75, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. Born April 4, 1945 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Darrell and Ethel Ruth Grubbs Darrell. She attended Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, she was a Children’s Church Leader for a number of years, and a commander in the Royal Rangers. She was a leader for Bible Study. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and her grandchildren loved her macaroni and cheese which she would cook for them during the holidays. She is survived by her husband, David A. Cole; two sons, Craig A. Cole and wife Cammie, and Steven D. Cole and wife Vanessa; one daughter, Melissa Palmer and husband Lewis; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Keith Darrell; and one sister, Dana Darrell. She loved her four-legged dog, Brandi and she was loyal to her up the last minute. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1:00PM at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00PM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. Visitors will be required to practice social distancing and follow directives.
