Doris Louise "Dolly" Wright Caskey, 84, of Daytona Beach, FL, (formerly of Berkeley County, WV) died on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Florida Memorial Hospital in Ormond, FL. Born December 1, 1922 in Berkeley County, WV, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Rosemary Boarman Wright. She was devoted to her husband of 62 years, serving along side him in all of their mutual endeavors. She was the center of her family and friends. She served her Daytona community actively, as past president and current chaplain of the Pilot Club and past president of the Women's Advisory Board at Bethune Cookman College. Daytona Beach awarded Dolly and Fritz "Archangels of the Year" and keys to the city for their participation and leadership with the Seaside Music Theater and the local arts organizations. She was precious to her community and family, "a walking angel". She is survived by her husband, Charles Frederick "Fritz" Caskey, Sr., one son, Charles F. "Rick" Caskey, Jr. and wife, Sue, of Portland, OR, and a daughter, Marilyn K. Caskey of New York, NY; three brothers: William Wright of Lexington, KY, John Wright of Bunker Hill, WV, and Kenneth Wright of Falling Waters, WV, and one sister, Janet Butcher of Elkins, WV and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Robert Wright. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 3 between 7 and 9 o'clock at Brown Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday Oct. 4 at 1:30 at Bedington United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Bob Barnes. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery immediately following the services.
