Douglas Triggs

Douglas Wendell Triggs, 58, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Born January 30, 1954 in Berkeley County, he is survived by his father, Boyd Franklin Triggs, Jr., of Gerrardstown, and the late Nellie V. Schoppert Triggs. He was a graduate of WV University and employed by Variform. In addition to his father, he is survived by four sisters, Beverly Bivens, of Gerrardstown, Roxane Ulrick, of PA, Robin Johnson, of Martinsburg, and Vickie Whittington, of Inwood; and a number of nieces and nephews. Celebration of his life will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013, at his home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 700 New York Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25401; CCap Loaves and Fishes, 336 S. Queen St., Martinsburg, 25401; Warm the Children, 207 W. King St., Martinsburg, 25401; and Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Road, Martinsburg, 25405, or a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
