George Brubaker

George David Brubaker, 75, born February 27, 1944 in Page County, Virginia, he was the son of the late John Brubaker and Hilda Weaver Brubaker He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from General Motors. He enjoyed to golf, fish, and work in his garden. His favorite pastime was snapping green beans. After putting up a brave fight, left this Earth on August 16, 2019 to go to a better place. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline Brubaker; daughters, Jenny Saylor (Anthony), and Kimberly Demory (Scott); granddaughters, Erica McIntyre (Phil) and Kathryn Demory (Sterling); two brothers; and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Heather Jo Brubaker and Georgina Dawn Brubaker Copenhaver; two brothers; and one sister. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Military graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with Pastor Rachel Crumley officiating.
