Goldie Myers

Goldie Stanley Myers, 53, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at the Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born July 6, 1956 in Louisa, VA, she was the daughter of Mary Small, of Falling Waters, and the late Henry Daniel Stanley. She was employed by the Charles Town Races and Slots. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Drayton Scott Staley, Jr., and wife, Tiffani Jo, of Inwood; one daughter, Crystal Star Wells and husband, Joshua Steve, all of Martinsburg; six grandchildren, Drayton Scott Staley III, Heavenly Chanel Star Staley, Goldie Staley, Chyna Chasity Star Stanley, Drayton Saul Stanley and Joshua Steve Wells, Jr.; one sister, Doris Drewry; two brothers, Billy Stanley and wife, Moncella, Joe Stanley and wife, Katherine, all of Falling Waters; eight nieces and six nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Stanley Hill. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday, July 23rd and 24th, 2009, at Brown Funeral Home’s South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC. Interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lexington, NC. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26th at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home.
