Lee Roy Sheets, Sr., 86, of Bunker Hill passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017. Born September 29, 1931 in Smith County, VA, he was the son of the late Lester Sheets and Bessie Sheets. He attended Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church and retired from Stuart M. Perry as a truck driver. He loved to hunt and fish and doted on his two rabbit dogs. Enjoyed hunting with his best friend, Wayne May. He is survived by his wife, Mable Elizabeth Godlove Sheets; son, Lee Roy Sheets, Jr. and wife, Claudia of Bunker Hill; one daughter, Brenda Allanson of Clear Brook, VA; two grandchildren, Tara Aikens and husband, Jeff of Martinsburg, Daniel Sheets and wife Suzanne of Berryville, VA; three step-grandchildren, Heather Worth, Suzanne Traux, and Dessirrae Knighten; six great-grandchildren, Grace, Randy, Austin, Jacoby, Conner, and Ryan; and eleven step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Brooklynn. Lee Roy was the last of his siblings. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the chapel. Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
