Robert Michael Hess, 56 of Shenandoah Junction, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Jefferson Medical Center. Born August 7, 1960 in Martinsburg, he is the son of Albert C. Hess, of Gerrardstown, WV and Sandra Kay Pritchard, of Dunnellon, FL. He is survived by his sons, Shawn M. Hess and wife, Sylvia, of Massachusetts, grandchildren, Liliana, Nyla, and Isaac, Randall (BJ)Hess and wife, Cassandra, of North Carolina, grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin, and Gage. Also survived by his companion of 27 years, Linda Anne Penwell at home; brother, Edgar Mark Hess and wife, Onnie, of Hedgesville, WV; sister, Debbie Ann Benner and husband, Jake Benner, of Gerrardstown, WV, sister, Robin Marie Santmier and husband, Rick, of Martinsburg, WV, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He attended Hedgesville High School. He worked with Dixie-Narco for a number of years before his disability. He loved life, his families, and always wished he could have done more for all. Family and friends will be received Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Funeral service Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00PM at the chapel before his cremation per his wishes.
