Roger Eugene Barthlow, 67, of Hagerstown passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. Born December 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD he is the son of step-father, Ross "Jimmie" Roberts and the late Belmont Barthlow and Armeda Morris Roberts. He had been employed with Capitol Cement. He was a four year veteran of the US Air Force and seventeen years from the Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Palmer Barthlow; one son, Kevin Barthlow; one daughter, Lynn Willis and husband, Michael; seven grandchildren, Joshua Barthlow and wife, Jillian, Summer Ratcliff, Joseph Eberspacher, Alecksis Palmer, Elizabeth Barthlow, Kailey Barthlow, and Bradyn Barthlow; one great-grandchild, Charlotte Barthlow; one step-sister, Cheryl Metz and husband, Chuck; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Barthlow. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Adams officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
