Roger Vernon Householder, 73, of Hedgesville, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 22, 2009 at his home. Born September 6, 1935 in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Jacob Daniel and Clara Viola Bowers Householder. He was retired from Mack Truck and had worked for the Morgan County Assessor’s Office. Mr. Householder was a member of the U. S. Air Guard. He was a member of Snyder's Bible Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet Sue Risinger Householder; one son, Michael Householder, of Hedgesville; two grandchildren, Josh and Hannah Householder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Daniel Householder. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Snyder’s Bible Chapel with Pastor Donald Dick officiating. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Brown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Snyder’s Cemetery, 9718 River Road, Hedgesville, WV 25427.
