Pastor Claude “Toad” Miller 77 of Montgomery Heights, passed on to his new home. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Learease, of 57 years, Sons: Kevin and wife Eva, Keith and wife Pam, Daughters Kira (Rick), Kathy (the late T.G. Seacrist). Grandchildren: Kelly and husband Charles Lee, Eric (Christina), Landon and wife Jenna, Nathan and wife Melissa, April, Triston (Sonya), Auston and Caleb. Great Grandchildren: Kristen, Eadin, Kade, Kessa, Leah, Garrett, Remington and Dylan. Brother Frank Miller and wife Dorris. Extended family: Jane Miles, Kandi, Kristi, Brian, Kari, Kati and their families Claude was the Pastor of Handley Full Gospel Community Church for 11 years and was the founder of Bethel Church in Smithers. He served in the USMC, Taught “Sea School and placed the first set of Marines on the USS IOWA. He was employed by O'Dell Funeral Home, Central Appalachian Coal Company, Sheppards Auto Supply, Corey and Fuller Auto Supply, Montgomery Hardware and BC Hooper Funeral Home. The Miller Family would like to thank Montgomery General Hospital, Montgomery Elderly Care, Staff and Doctors for their excellent care and the Hubbard House for the love and care they gave to Claude and family. Thank you to O'Dell Funeral Home and staff for their patience and service given to the family and friends. Services will be 12::00 Noon on Thursday at Bethel Church in Smithers with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London with military honors.. Firends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery.
