Cynthia L. "Cindy" Ashley, 63 of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House following a short illness. She was born January 22, 1954 in Montgomery, WV to Orvil and Goldie Ashley. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by sister Oretta Sue Ashley. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Tina Nix and husband Mark, who were her caregivers and another daughter, Angela Perry. Cynthia will also be deeply missed by her sister Sheila Murphy of TX, brother Stephen Ashley of WV and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Ms. Ashley will be conducted at 1pm Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Pete Lokant officiating. Interment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park also in Oak Hill where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
