Damien Isaac Orlando Vazquez, 37 weeks, loving son to Javier and Amy (Strother) Vazquez of Lillydale, was born and passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Preceding Damien in death are his maternal great-grandparents, Lonzo and Pansy Kennedy and also Gail and Carol Lester. In addition to his mother and father, those surviving include his big sister, Marley Vazquez; paternal grandparents, Angie Vazquez and Patricia Lester both of Oceana; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Sherry Strother of Lillydale; great-grandparents, Jackie and Clella Strother of Bolt; aunts and uncles, Amanda Sanders and husband Michael of Lillyhaven, Brittney Strother of Lillydale, Samantha Day of Oceana, Emily Strother of Lillydale, Abi Hurley of Oceana, Jonas and Christin Miles of Kopperston; and a host of great aunts and uncles. In keeping with the wishes provided by his mother and father, Damien will be cremated. Memorial Services will be conducted at 5pm on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Lillyhaven Baptist Church with Pastor Algie Cook officiating.
