Lillian G. Utt, 84 of Princewick, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at home. Born January 28, 1933 in East Gulf, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Meadows. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Utt; son, David Utt; son-in-law, David Hockett; 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include sisters, Macie Lambert of Shady Spring, Mary Cree and husband Buster of Coal City, Shirley Fuda of Beckley; brother, Wes Meadows and wife Sharon of South Carolina; children, Barbara Rakes and husband Larry of Sophia, Linda Sawyer and husband Aaron of Backus Mountain, Faye Hockett of Coal City, Diana Hansford and husband Scott of Coal City, Phyllis Green of Tennessee, Ray Meadows and wife Debbie of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Graveside rites and interment will be conducted at 1pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Hot Coal Cemetery in Sophia with Pastor Sammy Belle officiating. Interment will follow after the services.
