George E. Wade, 54, of New Martinsville, WV went home Sunday, February 19, 2017 while at Ruby Memorial. George was born January 2, 1963 in Littleton, WV, son of the late Arlis and Mary Ellen (Morris) Wade. He was a former employee of Weirton Steel, graduate of Weir High School, loved fishing, member of Rainbow and Came to Believe and member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife of three and half years, Lisa (Daugherty) Wade; son, Joe (Renee) Wade of Wileyville, WV; daughter, Tasha Wade of Hundred, WV; two step-daughters, Elisha Riggs of Natural Bridge, VA and Shelby Riggs of Lynchburg, VA; two brothers, Harry (Betty) Wade of Columbus, OH and Tom Wade of Moundsville, WV; two grandchildren, Davon and Joey and several other family members. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017 with Paolo Deluca officiating. Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
