Roberta B. Wayne, 80, of Piney, WV went to meet her Lord Thursday, June 1, 2017 while at Genesis New Martinsville. Roberta was born November 12, 1936 in Steelton, WV, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Davis) Holsberry. She was a homemaker, former manager for the former Montgomery Wards, past member of Y.L.U., Pricilla Rebecca’s Lodge No. 296 and Eastern Star No. 50, a graduate of Magnolia High School class of 1954, Sunday school teacher and served on the ladies board and member of Reader United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wayne (2004); sister, Beverly Rine and two brothers, Eddie and Ronnie Holsberry. Surviving are her son, Bill (Teresa) Wayne, Jr. of Morgantown, WV; two daughters, Bonnie Martin and Barbie Headley both of Pine Grove, WV; brother, Dick (Sylvia) Holsberry from Tennessee; three sisters, Tanny (Gene) Streets of Philippi, WV, Esther “Chee Chee” (Ron) Ragona of Cedar City, UT and Carolyn Ramsey from Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Travis (Jessica) Wayne, Mitchell (Chelsea Buseman)Wayne, Nathaniel (Myra) Martin, Elizabeth (Jason) Williamson, Jonathan (Stacy Cole) Martin, Whitney (Mike) Neff, Karissa Headley and Becca Headley; four great grandchildren, Trevor, Callie, Cameron and Jacob. Friends received noon to 3 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 with Greg Morris officiating.
