Clifford Powers

Clifford Allen Powers, 60, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home. He was born in Clarksburg on July 10, 1956 a son of Clifford William Powers who survives in Clarksburg and the late Norma Jean Ganoe Powers. Also surviving are his sisters, Debbie Darlene Powers and Belinda Diane Powers; his uncle, Charlie Powers and his companion Linda Dodd; his aunts, Nevienne Davis and her companion John Dodd; Sandra Jenkins and her husband Bobby; and Kathy Miller and her husband Buck; his nieces, Natasha Hatala and companion Bruce Bell; Whitney Newlon; Nicole Hatala and companion Steve Bailey; and Heather Powers and companion A.J. Williams; his nephew, J.C. Powers and companion Erica Scheuvront; and great-nieces and nephews, Bryce and Breck Bailey; Tristan and Gwen Dean; and Victoria Rose and Jacie Grace Powers; as well as several cousins. In addition to his mother, Allen was preceded in death by his brothers, Rodney Eugene and James Howard Powers; and his grandmother, Opal Powers. Allen was a very loving and caring person. He would help anyone in need. His whole life revolved around getting out and taking care of his father, his family, and his friends. Allen loved to buy junk, such as cars and fix them up. The family will receive friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Friday from 11-1:30 PM. A funeral service will be held that day at 1:30 with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating.
