Donna June O’Connor, 63, of Lumberport passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at WVU – Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born March 3, 1954 in Warren, OH a daughter of the late Harold J. Creak Sr. and Shirley Jones McCroby. She was also preceded by her step-father, Bill Mccrory and daughter-in-law, Karen O'Connor. Donna is survived by her long-time companion, Christopher Adams of Lumberport; her children, Chrissy O’Connor Mazza and her husband Dennis of Mt. Clare; Stephen O’Connor of Jane Lew; her grandchildren, Myra and Timmy Mazza; and Makenna O’Connor; two step-children, Josh Jenkins and his companion Samantha Klimek of Shinnston and their children, Zander, Zoey, and Zarah; Alayna Mills and her husband Chris and their children, Abrielle and Beckett; as well as Aaron Sanford. Also surviving are her siblings, Judy Boggs of Shinnston; Sandy McCormick of Worthington; Kim Bird and husband Allen of Niles, OH; Lisa Evans of Rocky Mount, NC; Robert Jones and wife Peggy of Champion, OH; her twin-brother, Danny Creak and wife Helen of Shinnston; and Harold Creak of Mannington; as well as two step-brothers, William McCroby of Shinnston; and Richard McCroby and his wife Carolyn of Rocky Point, NC. Donna was employed by Wal-Mart in Fairmont for 15 years. She liked to spend her time making her house a home. She was a wonderful cook and she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her “best friend”, her dog, Sasha. The family will receive friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM. Pastor Richard Shuman will officiate the service and cremation will follow.
