Gloria Lynn Dotson – Bennett, 51, of Wallace passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.   She was born March 27, 1965 a daughter of Alice Bell Floyd Dotson who survives in Folsom, and the late Creed Dwight Dotson.   Gloria is also survived by her loving husband, David E. Bennett; her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Bennett and her husband Doug of Wallace; Gloria Jean Dotson of Anmoore; her sons, Colby Eugene Welch and William Henry Welch of Wallace; grandchildren, Kale, Reese, and Judd Bennett; Jazlyen and Sarenity Taylor; her mother-in-law, Mary Shaw Bennett of Wallace; siblings, William Dotson and his wife Terry of Smithfield; Shirley Rhode of Pine Grove; Evelyn Bowen and her husband John of Wallace; and Alice Aldridge of Folsom; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jody Dennison of Wallace who cared for her during her illness; Larry Bennett and his wife Debbie of Wallace; Audie Bennett of Wallace; Eddie Price and his wife Darlene of Lumberport; and Ruth Sendling and husband Gary of Gregory’s Run, several nieces and nephews; as well as very good friends, Concetta and Mike Mathey of Hepzibah.   In addition to her father, Gloria was preceded in death by her brothers, Doug and Leslie Dotson and her father-in-law, Audie Bennett.   Gloria was a member of the Full Gospel Chapel in Wallace. She enjoyed gardening and music and loved spending time with her grandchildren.   The family will receive friends at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Monday from 3-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 22nd at 11 AM with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating. Interment will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Pine Grove.
