Beverly (Barnhart) Donini, 84 of Wellsburg, WV, passed peacefully away in her sleep at 1:15 AM on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Ann’s Country Retreat, Wellsburg, WV under the care of the staff and Amedisys Hospice. Beverly was born on July 5, 1935 in Colliers, WV. She was the daughter of the late Allen and Beatrice (Wolfe) Barnhart. Bev was a former member of Christ Episcopal Church, Wellsburg. Many will remember, Bev for her love of cooking, baking and family; but most of all, her grandchildren and her dog. In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Jack Russell Donini Jr., three brothers, Edgar, Earl and Robert “Bob” Barnhart, four sisters, Bernice Markey, Doris Zumpft, Nancy McFadden and Patricia “Pat” Boyd. Bev is survived by her two children, Bridget Burns of Wellsburg, WV and Sam Donini and his wife, Melanie of Bethany, WV , four grandchildren, John McCutchan and his wife, Lori of DeBary, FL, Petey Burns and J.D. Burns, both of Wellsburg, WV and Chessie Donini of Youngstown, OH, her dogs, Ruger and Bella, great grand dogs, Lexi, Laci, Eiden and Peanut and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, under the direction of her great nephew, Eric. Interment will be held privately at Bethany Community Cemetery, Bethany, WV. The family would like to thank the care given to Bev from the caring staff at Ann’s Country Retreat, who made Bev feel as if she was family.
