Donald Thomas Miles, 57, of Horner, WV passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following an extended illness. He was born in Weston on November 6, 1955: son of the late Thomas E. Miles, Jr. and Edna Joann (Harrison) Miles. On June 17, 1975, he married Peggy S. (Williams) Miles, who survives. He is also survived by one son: Donald T. Miles, Jr. and one grandchild: Kayden Miles. Donald is also survived by his twin brother: Ronald C. Miles of Clearfield, PA, two sisters: Patricia Shipley of Burnsville and Barbara Linger of Weston and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by one sister: Rebecca Miles. Mr. Miles started in the oil field with Allegheny Nuclear Survey of Weston where he was an engineer in CH and OH operation for several years then later he was the District Manager of the Weston District after his 28 years with the company. He went to work at Superior Wireline as district manager in Buckhannon, WV. The after a few years, he went to work for J.W. Wireline as the District manager in Weston. He was a member of the Horner United Methodist Church of Horner, WV. His hobbies were race cars (NASCAR and others), camping and football. Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating.
