Donald “Don” Young, age 83, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home. He was born to the late Edward and Esther (Wichman) Young on December 4, 1933. Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Byrdene; his children: Bonnie Young, Jeff (Betty) Young, Debbie Young, Dianna Young, Roxann (Shelly) Donner, and Scott Young; grandchildren: Amanda, Whitney, and Cassie Young, Kevin, Lindsey, and James (Chris); great granddaughter Nora; brother Terry (Lenda) Young; sisters: Naomi (Lonnie) Iris and Sheila (John) Kreisle; sisters-in-law: Toni Young and Helen Young; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Stan and Bob Young. Per the wishes of the family, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Dad, Now you can excavate all you want now. Play on your machines all day long without hurting. Play your trains all night long. When we turn the trains on, we will remember you always.
